Legal Disclaimer
Effective October 16, 2025
We believe in being transparent about what we offer and what we can't control. This disclaimer helps you understand the nature of our services and your responsibilities.
What We Guarantee (And What We Don't)
Modern Musician offers a Performance Guarantee for certain program tiers (details in our Performance Guarantee agreements). Here's what that means:
Our commitment: Our 12-week system is designed to help eligible artists achieve a 2× return on ad spend. We're so confident in this approach that we guarantee it: if you meet all program requirements and don't hit that target within the initial period, we'll keep working with you—providing ongoing platform access and support—until you reach that goal.
What this isn't: This is a service commitment, not a promise of specific earnings or overnight success. Your results depend on your effort, consistency, artistic quality, market conditions, and many other factors we can't control.
Eligibility matters: The Performance Guarantee requires completing all training, maintaining participation levels, investing required ad spend, and following program guidelines. See the full terms for details.
About Results and Expectations
Beyond our specific Performance Guarantee, we don't make promises about earnings, fan growth, or timeframes. Here's the truth:
- Any income examples you see are estimates, not guarantees
- Your results will be unique to you and your circumstances
- Success requires real work, consistency, and often time
- External factors (economy, market conditions, platform changes) can impact outcomes
- Past results—ours or others'—don't predict your future results
We're here to provide training, tools, and support. But your success ultimately depends on how you use them, your artistic quality, your marketing efforts, and factors beyond anyone's control.
Understand the Risks
Building a music business involves real risks. You could lose money you invest in advertising, products, or services. You might not earn back what you spend. This is true of any business venture, and music is no exception.
Only invest what you can afford to lose, and make decisions based on your own judgment—not just on our (or others') success stories.
Get Professional Advice
Our coaching and software are educational tools, not professional advice. For important business, legal, financial, or tax decisions, consult qualified professionals like:
- Accountants for tax and financial planning
- Attorneys for legal matters and contracts
- Business advisors for strategic decisions
Don't treat anything on our platform as a substitute for proper professional guidance.
Technology and Third-Party Services
StreetTeam software works with many third-party platforms (payment processors, ad networks, social media, etc.). While we work hard to keep things running smoothly:
- We can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- Third-party platforms are outside our control
- Platform rules, availability, and performance can change
Your Responsibilities
When you use Modern Musician coaching or StreetTeam software:
- You're running your own business — We're not partners or employers, you're an independent business owner
- You must follow the rules — All applicable laws, regulations, platform policies, and guidelines are your responsibility
- You own your outcomes — Success or failure ultimately comes down to your decisions and actions
Forward-Looking Statements
Sometimes we talk about potential, expectations, or forecasts (using words like "could," "might," "potentially," "expect"). These are opinions about possibilities, not promises. Many factors affect actual results, and there's no guarantee things will work out as described.
Refunds and Purchase Terms
All purchases are subject to our refund and cancellation policies. Please review those terms before buying.
Bottom line: We're committed to providing excellent training, tools, and support. We believe in what we offer, and we've structured our Performance Guarantee to back it up for eligible participants. But we also believe in transparency—success in music (like any business) requires work, carries risks, and depends on many factors beyond our control. We're here to help you succeed, but we can't do the work for you or control every variable that affects your results.
